Good evening, folks! In addition to the changes that Derek mentioned, I'd like to clue you in on a quick list of other items that we've released this evening:

  • Assignments now need to be approved by a Pixish admin before they are posted. This process is generally very quick, but may take up to 24 hours

  • We've fixed a bug where Assignments were erroneously rejecting submissions (thank you to all the members who helped us debug this one!)

  • We now properly link to your Flickr page if you fill in your Flickr screen name

  • Fixed a number of photo-strip related issues on the individual Assignment page: the 'next' arrow didn't work; toggling between 'strip' and 'grid' view didn't work; other things that were broken are likely now fixed as well!

  • Fixed a bug where you couldn't click on submissions in the photo strip when you weren't logged in

  • The 'Meet Pixish Peeps' section of the homepage (when you're logged in) now properly displays members' avatars

  • Added links to the main Assignments, Pictures, and People pages from the homepage (when logged in)

  • Added a list of other Pictures by the same Member on the individual Picture page (e.g. http://pixish.com/pictures/64)

  • If you didn't initially upload an avatar during the signup process, you can now do so from your Profile page

  • Added a submission count to the listing of Assignments on the main Assignments page

  • Paginated the Assignment listing on the main Assignments page

  • Fixed a bug where the "I'm Done Voting" link wouldn't always work correctly

  • Fixed a text wrapping bug that occurred after you'd voted on all the submissions for an Assignment

  • Fixed a bug where the Assignments weren't being sorted properly on the main Assignments page

  • Now allow non-alphanumeric characters in passwords

  • Added an atom feed to the main Assignments page

  • Fixed a bunch of typos

Almost all of the items on this list came about directly because of member feedback. We're working hard to fix bugs and add new features (while juggling full-time jobs!), so your feedback is incredibly important to us.

Thank you so much for helping us make Pixish a better place!
